EDUCATION

“I will meditate on your commandments and give attention to your ways.  My delight is in your statutes; I will not forget your word.”  — Psalm 119:15-16

Christians are called by God into a process of continual formation and education.  The life of faith begins with Baptism, simple faith and a willingness to follow Jesus Christ.  But God challenges us to deepen our understanding, to train ourselves by prayer and discipline, so we can
grow into “complete maturity,” becoming more like Jesus.  Study of the Bible and the teachings and practices of the Christian faith are a vital part of this growth process.  By spending time learning more about God’s Word, we come to know and love God more deeply, and we “do not forget” those things from God that are most important.

Here at Christ Church, we have a varied program of Christian education designed to help people of all ages to “give attention to God’s ways.”

Below is a list of our education ministries, if you would like to explore serving Christ Church by leading a ministry or aiding, or would like to be fed by one of our ministries, please call the church office at 607.547.9555 or Bob Birch (607.547.8273)
